Dewy and pink | Valentine’s Day Makeup Look!

Hello lovelies! How are you all doing?

So, just in case you didn’t know, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner (tomorrow, to be exact).

So if you’ve got any exciting plans that you might want to doll yourself up for, here is a fresh and dewy makeup look that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Let’s get going!

rimmel wake me up foundation

So, I’ll get going with my base.

I start off by applying the Wake Me Up foundation from Rimmel (here’s a review!) in the shade 100 Ivory, with my Buffing Brush. Honestly guys, this is just my absolute favourite foundation – it goes on so smoothly and keeps my skin hydrated, while giving me a dewy look.

And the concealer that I use goes along with that foundation – the Wake Me Up again, but for some reason this is in a completely different shade – Classic Beige. Not too sure why, but it looks fine on the skin so I must have bought this one on purpose!

To blend that I use my Deluxe Crease Brush – I love this thing for concealer! – and I apply it under my eyes to brighten and on blemishes too.

benefit highbeam
To set my foundation and concealer into place, I used the Rimmel Stay Matte in Transparent with the Duo-Fibre Face Brush, as it barely picks up any product and doesn’t leave me looking chalky.

As for the cheeks – I wanted this to be a very fresh and pretty look so I went for MAC’s Dainty on my Contour Brush, and just dusted this onto the apples of my cheeks! I love the shade of this and the shimmer really brightens the complexion.

And I finished the cheeks with a dab of highlighter – I mean, come on, you can’t have a dewy look without a glow! I used Benefit’s Highbeam on the highpoints of my cheekbones to set of the base.

eyebrow routine

Before we go onto the eyes, I’ll quickly go through my eyebrow routine!

I start off by giving them a bit more shape with this Colour Workshop Palette. I use that matte taupe shade in the middle – can you see it? – with my Eyeliner Brush.

Just to set any stray hairs I also comb through a little of the Rimmel Brow This Way gel!

Now onto the exciting part – EYES!

All of the eyeshadows that I use are from my Naked on The Run from Urban Decay, which I think is limited edition – so go and get it quick (I’ve reviewed it here)!

I start of the eyes by sweeping the shade 5050 all over the lid – it’s basically a pale nude with a slight hint of shimmer. It’s just the perfect base colour!

Ooh, and to do that I usedΒ a Base Shadow BrushΒ – basically the perfect eyeshadow brush. I love it!

I then take this beautiful rose gold – Dive – through the crease with the Angled Shadow Brush.

Ah, I love this colour! It’s actually my favourite out of all of the eyeshadows in the palette!

urban decay 24/7 eyeliner

To complete my eyes, I use the 24/7 Glide on Eyeliner to define my upper lashline, and then coated my lashes with the Perversion mascara.

I didn’t want to apply falsies, so I applied a heck of a lot of mascara! I just love the finish I get!

And then, to complete this Valentine’s makeup tutorial – it is of course lips. Instead of going for the classic red lip (which is still beautiful, might I add!) I decided to go for the complete opposite and go nude.

This gloss is Chic from Tanya Burr – the pigmentation is incredible, the formula not too sticky but still has a tack so it lasts longer and the colour is a beautiful pink-nude.

And with that, you’re done!

I hope you liked that Valentine’s makeup look! Have you posted a look on your own blog? Leave a link below so I can check it out!

Have you got any plans for tomorrow?
