PS I know I only hauled a few weeks back, but you know me. Shopaholic much.
Being an avid reader of many beauty blogs, I had to have heard about Zoeva, and I’m pretty sure that most of you are in the same boat as me. I’ve heard so many bloggers and YouTubers raving and raving about this brand, and me being me, I didn’t jump on the bandwagon immediately! Instead, I decided to wait a while… Before finally trying some of their products.
So in today’s post I’ll be sharing my ‘Zoeva Treasures’, as I’m going to call them… Because I haven’t really dabbled in them yet and I can’t wait much longer!
First up is this liquid eyeliner – the Cat Eye Pen, and it’s in the shade Blackest Black. As you may know if you read my EOTD a while ago, I use the MUA liquid liner and find that to be quite amazing for the price! It doesn’t bleed, it stays put… If only it came in pen-form I’d be completely happy with it.
Instead, it comes with one of those fiddly brushes, and hand me one of those and my makeup look’s pretty much done for. I’ve been after a liquid liner for a reasonable price for a little while now (COME ON Soap&Glory, nearly a tenner for an eyeliner?) and this one seemed to be a good bet! I’ll be sure to post another EOTD using this soon!
Next up is this bee-yoo-tiful lipstick in Faith&Love. Firstly, let’s just admire that satisfactory ‘click’ of a magnetic lid – ooh yeah. Ooh yeah.
I’m also just a lover of the actual shade of this lipstick – a deeper, darker peach with orangey undertones instead of the pinks I usually sway towards. The formula is also beautifully rich and pigmented as you’ll see from my swatch later.
Perfect for spring, am I right?
The blusher that I picked up is quite possibly my favourite product from this little haul! It’s called ‘He loves me maybe…‘ and it’s from the Luxe Colour line. IT’S SO PRETTY! And this is the one thing that I have dabbled in; I couldn’t wait.
As well as the colour well and truly floating my boat, I also love the fact that the blusher is matte – being a magpie to sparkle and glitter, most of the blushers in my stash are shimmer, so this one’s formulas is a lovely breath of fresh air for me and my cheeks.
The pigmentation is also ridiculously good – as I can be heavy handed I do have to restrain myself from applying too much, but the colour really does show on the cheeks and stays put.
Here’s swatches of everything I just mentioned!
…The Mixed Metals Palette!
I know I just said that the blusher is my favourite, but it is definitely closely followed by this little beauty. To be honest I wasn’t expecting wonders from these eyeshadows – affordable price, they come in a palette which usually dents the quality a bit, and I haven’t really heard anyone talk about them.
However, I was proved very, very wrong.
I think the swatches speak for themselves.
I posted on Instagram the other day about these eyeshadows and you guys seemed really impressed too! They’re just so pigmented. And, as you’ll know if you read a recent post of mine, I picked up the Naked palette from Urban Decay, and I am not joking when I say that they are close to those eyeshadows in quality. NO LIE!
I will of course be sharing some EOTDs with you all using these eyeshadows as they are absolutely gorgeous!
And with that gush comes the end of my little Zoeva haul!
Have you tried anything from Zoeva – cosmetics or brushes? What do you think?
Have a lovely week!
