Seeing as I really enjoyed sharing my face drawer within my makeup collection last week with you all, I thought I’d best show you my eye drawer too!
So, in the first section on the right hand side of the drawer, I’ve got a couple of containers – one holding brow products and one holding eyeliners and shadow sticks! I don’t really wear liquid liner on a daily basis but I do enjoy using pencil to thicken up the lashline, and I love eyeshadow sticks simply because of how quick they are to use! My favourite pencils are from Model Co and Lord & Berry, and I like the shadow sticks from Nude Stix and Barbara Daly.
Brow-wise, I keep things pretty concise here. I have a couple of brow gels (my favourite’s from Maybelline) as well as the product I’m using lots at the moment which is the NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade. I also have a MAC Pigment here as well as some Tanya Burr lashes.
Just in front of that I have a Muji separator holding all of my single eyeshadows and little palettes. I reach here often so I like to have it at the front of my drawer!
On the right I’ve got quite a few cream shadows from Maybelline, MAC, Max Factor and Topshop, as well as some brightly coloured shadows that I don’t reach for as often.
In the other section I have my Max Factor Smokey Eye Drama Kits (which are fantastic!) as well as a Make-up Forever Duo and some single powder shadows. I’ve got some Bobbi Brown Sparkle ones, a KIKO Water Shadow, one from NARS and several different formulas from MAC.
On the far side I have a smaller container with all of my mascaras. To be totally honest, I’m rather picky when it comes to mascara and so when I find a favourite I tend to stick with it! My current favourite is the Maybelline Lash Sensational, and I also like the new Seventeen Long Lash* for more natural lash days. I’ve got a couple from Benefit such as the Roller Lash and They’re Real as well as a coloured mascara from KIKO on top which I’m really enjoying!
Peeping out from the back I have some palettes that I don’t really reach for as often: the Zoeva Mixed Metals, MUA Undressed and the 88 Colour Cool Shimmer from BH Cosmetics (which I save strictly for Halloween!).
Finally, on the front left I have my most used palettes! I reach for palettes often because the colours tend to be nicely coordinated for you and work well together. I have the Urban Decay Naked on the Run (a face and eye palette which has now been unfortunately discontinued), my beloved Tom Ford Quad in Seductive Rose (which left me out of pocket for a few months to say the least), the NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette and the original Naked Palette from Urban Decay which is by far my most used.
So that’s the eye drawer of my makeup collection! You can take a peek into my face drawer here and do keep an eye out for my lip drawer which will be up next week.
What’s your favourite eyeshadow palette? If you could only have one, which would it be?
